Is the Extra-Large Fixed Window thermally broken?

Yes. The frame has a polyamide thermal break between the inside and outside aluminium, which gives a factory Uw of about 2.1 W/m²K. That helps new homes meet the 7-star NCC energy rules and BASIX.

What glass can it take?

Per the factory catalogue: Double glazed toughened: 5 mm+15 air+5 mm; Laminated double glazed: 5 mm+1.14 PVB+5 mm+12 air+5 mm; Triple glazed: 5 mm+12 air+5 mm+12 air+5 mm; Glass fan-shaped notch: Multiple choices. Low-E, tinted, obscure and laminated glass are available, chosen to AS 1288 for the location.

What colours does it come in?

Powder coat in black, Monument, Surfmist white, Woodland Grey and other colours, plus metallic fluorocarbon (PVDF) and woodgrain finishes. All frames on one order come in the same colour batch.
